This site is an offering at the lotus feet of my Guru Om Swami. It is called Guru Paduka to constantly remind the writers and readers that anything of value you find here is only due to the grace of my Guru. If you find anything inaccurate or do not agree with something, remember that our Guru is divine, but we, his disciples, are merely mortal.
The glorious tradition of Sanatana Dharma now faces an existential threat. However, this threat also presents a fantastic opportunity to rediscover the glory of this tradition, which gave us titans such as Adi Shankaracharya, Madhavcharya, Gorakshnath, Goswami Tulasidas, Ramana Maharishi, Anandmayi Ma, Neem Kiroli Baba, Sri Ramakrishna, Swami Vivekananda, and my own Guru Om Swami. We can only value and preserve something when we understand and practice it. Hence, this site includes stories that will help you appreciate the breadth and depth of Sanatana Dharma. However, almost all stories will nudge readers to download the free Vedic Sadhana application. The end goal for Sanatana Dharma is always liberation. It starts with gaining freedom from the tight bonds of vikaras (tendencies), and the final step is liberation from the cycle of life and death. To be truly Sanatani, we must ensure we dedicate some part of our day to this goal, and Vedic Sadhana is the best way to reach that goal.
Let me end by saying that while this site is offered at the lotus feet of my Guru Om Swami, the Guru Paduka team bears the responsibility and legal obligations associated with running it. I hope you enjoy diving into the universe of Sanatana Dharma.
